Melissa F. Cornell

Melissa F. Cornell graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2001 where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2004 where she received her Juris Doctor with honor. While in law school, Melissa was an Editor of the Tulsa Law Review; Vice-President of the Board of Advocates; member of Phi Delta Phi; and received the distinguished Order of the Barristers award.

Sine being licensed to practice law, Ms. Cornell has been a member of the Family Law Sections of the Tulsa County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Bar Association, In addition, she has volunteered her time to serve on the Tulsa County Bar Association Children in the Law Committee, mentor committee, Young Family Lawyers committee, and has volunteered to represent children with The Tulsa Lawyers for Children.

Ms. Cornell is also a frequent speaker on divorce and family law topics at continuing legal education seminars, and has been published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal.
